Benja Thai is a delightful Thai food restaurant located in Ancestor Square. We met there with a few friends and they easily accomadated us without a problem. But the tables seemed almost too close together and the restaurant itself is a smaller place (which if you like the close together ambiance, it could be perfect for you, personally we felt a little claustrophobic). The ambiance was further enhanced by some great soft background music, Snautaum Karr. The food was great, a little pricey, the service was authentic but not the most friendly. In Alisa's opinion: "I would go back again. I would give it a 7 on a scale of 10. Good food and friends" Roxanne rated Benja as a 5 out of 10. "Not what it cracks itself up to be."
In conclusion, if you like Thai food then you will most likely feel your dining experience at Benja's was a fabulous evening. Otherwise, choose somewhere else that is more your style. Namaste.
The mango sticky rice was a great choice for dessert!
Even the garnish was great!
Our group was unexpected and yet accomodated well.
